About our rooms

Our five large king studio rooms are clean and bright with all the facilities you need for a pleasant stay. As you enter your Taupō studio accommodation you’ll find a convenient, well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric frying pan and tea and coffee making facilities (essential after travelling—no matter how far!) The main room is spacious with a triple-sheeted Superking or king sized bed, dining table and chairs, two-seater couch and a brand new 50 inch smart TV with 10 Sky channels and Netflix enabled, ready for your enjoyment. Like the main room, the bathrooms are also spacious with enough room to accommodate a large shower. The bathrooms also include high quality towels and toiletries and shower pressure that never disappoints. For our winter guests there is a heat pump and underfloor heating, and summer guests can enjoy the cool air conditioning and ceiling fan. All our large king studios are located on the ground floor so there is designated outdoor seating for you to enjoy some sunshine and fresh lake air. Guests will enjoy free, unlimited WiFi, free secure parking and all the convenience of being in close walking distance to the lake and the town centre. Our seven Taupō one bedroom units can sleep up to three guests with a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the living room. Our one bedroom Taupō accommodation is perfect for a couple with a child, a group of three or a couple who simply prefers a separate bedroom and sitting room arrangement. The roomy bathroom has a large shower with fantastic water pressure and underfloor heating for extra comfort in the winter, and the convenient kitchenette has everything you need to prepare simple meals: a microwave, fridge, electric frypan, toaster and tea and coffeee-making facilities. If you’re looking for pet-friendly accommodation in Taupō, two of our one-bedroom apartments can take small pets—just ask us when you make your booking to ensure the right unit is available. We know that Taupō pet-friendly accommodation can be hard to find, so we’re happy to accommodate your furry friends—with a few simple rules to abide by of course! One of our one-bedroom units also caters for disabilities with a wheelchair accesssible bathroom including a walk-in shower, a shower-seat and handrails. The bedroom and living room each have a 50 inch smart TV with 10 Sky channels and Netflix enabled and there is free, unlimited fast Wi-Fi throughout the property. The apartments all have air conditioning in the main living room to heat or cool the apartment to your ideal temperature all year round. Our 40 sq mtr 1 Bedroom Access Unit is located close to the on-site Restaurant with its own car parking space. We provide a ramp from the car park up to the footpath, with another small ramp at the front door – while internally the unit is all on the one level. With air conditioning / heat pump, and underfloor (Winter) heating, the unit is well suited to provide comfort all year around. There is a private bathroom with toiletries, a large roll-in shower that has a shower wand, drop down seat, and a handrail. The hand basin and toilet are of standard height, with another handrail alongside the toilet. There is a Single bed in the lounge, along with a Queen in the bedroom - both being triple sheeted for your health and comfort. The Lounge comes with a ceiling fan, air conditioning / heat pump, dining table and chairs, plus a Sofa, coffee table, and a 50” SMART TV with 10 x SKY. There is a luggage rack in the bedroom along with another 50” SMART TV. The suites have a separate bathroom, bedroom and living room, and the whole space is a generous 40 square metres in size. It includes a brand new 50 inch smart television 10 Sky channels and Netflix enabled, a comfortable couch, four-seat dining table and a queen bed plus two singles. Separating the living room and the bedroom is a convenient kitchenette to allow you to prepare simple meals without having to leave your homely apartment. It includes a fridge, microwave, electric frypan, toaster and kettle, as well as a variety of complimentary teas, coffees and hot chocolate. The bathrooms are bright and spacious with a separate shower and large tiled corner bath—perfect for bathing kids in the evening or for adults wanting to relax. Our spa bath suites are located on the eastern side of the lodge, getting the morning sun in the bedroom and afternoon sun from the private seating area just outside your front door. Spa bath suites can sleep up to four guests with single, queen, king and super king beds available, so they’re ideal for families or small groups of friends. The large bedroom and living area can comfortably accommodate four without stepping on each others toes and there’s space for all to enjoy a meal or a game of cards around the dining table. Guests will be comfortable all year round in our spa accommodation thanks to underfloor heating in the winter months and air conditioning over the summer. You won’t miss your favourite shows with Sky and Netflix both available on the brand new 50” SMART TV, and our fast, free, unlimited Wi-Fi will let you chat, stream and browse to your heart’s content.
